Ballet Move 

The concept of Ballet Move by MSB Studio consolidates all the modalities that have been part of MSB Studio since 2014.

 

Based on Mafalda’s Method, the basis of classic ballet and pilates are combined with fitness and toning exercises, with a very insightful component of body and artistic expression. 

 

One of the objectives of this consolidation is to improve and develop, in a harmonious way, all the aspects described in the Method and to enhance the abilities of the students with an integration of all modalities. We want to inspire, motivate and challenge how it is possible to achieve a more toned body, as well as a better posture and elegance.

 

The Method

Integrating the tradition of classical ballet into the best practices of fitness, Mafalda’s Method far surpasses the notion of ballet fitness. It is a model based on seven principles, which, through the complementary diversity of classes in the MSB Studio, symphonically defines the body and mind.

The principles of the Method are: Concentration, Breathing, Consciousness, Strength, Posture, Flexibility and Energy, now compiled in a recently edited book. The daily practice of these principles helps the students to understand that the movement is not only physical.
